It starts with family…

The roots of Outdoor Training Services’ story are deeply entwined with the great outdoors. Founded by Annika Spriggs, our Chief Operating Officer, OTS is a testament to a life molded by outdoor adventures and a commitment to empowering others.

From the majestic landscapes of Colorado to the shores of Minnesota, Annika's upbringing immersed her in the world of hiking, biking, camping, climbing, fishing and hunting. Yet, it was a life altering experience with her aunt that crystallized the importance of a life well-lived. Witnessing the profound impact of one person's journey during her aunt's battle with cancer inspired Annika to dedicate her life to helping others reach their fullest potential.

With over 16 years working in the outdoor industry, Annika's passion and experience have fueled her career, shaping her into a leader in training, cultural responsiveness, and risk management.

In June 2023, Annika launched OTS, driven by the goal of providing comprehensive training for outdoor professionals and enthusiasts. Our mission is threefold: Inspired by One, recognizing the transformative power of individuals; Inspired by Nature, embracing the dynamic climate of outdoor spaces; and Inspired by Safety, committing to providing safe, inclusive environments.
